Dog Arthritis – Help?

It’s one of the worst things to see – an active dog slowly becoming less and less able to run and play, getting stiff easily, lame and even unable to perform their favorite activities.  Many dogs develop arthritis but can we help them?

There are medications that can be given. but many people want a safer alternative, something more of a supplement rather than a strong medication which can, let’s face it, make your dog tired or lethargic and just not themselves anymore.

We can help to try to prevent arthritis by: exercising our dog, giving them a healthy, non junk food diet, and giving supplements such as glucosamine when they start to get up there in age.

For more information on glucosamine and arthritis, this blog has an informative article.
